Daylight saving ends this weekend and I can hear all the wowzers shouting with glee. Apparently the government is considering amending the finish date; a very good idea indeed. I have loved daylight saving (even if I haven’t made it to the beach a single evening all summer, the shame!) but the extra weeks in March of getting up in the dark only add fuel to the fire of the already rabid anti-daylight saving brigade. 

If only we had extended trading hours to go shopping during the extra daylight over summer!
