The trick, it seems, is to write often, and write like writing a journal. Not to get bogged down in the technical stuff like why the blogroll disappeared and where the custom header went. And to use lots of tags.

This is all new for me; usually I am shaping someone else’s words, not just bashing out a whole bunch of my own. At this stage just about no one knows this exists, anyway, so time to find my feet.
