Welcome to my home on the web.
I am a writer and journalist currently in another stint working as TV editor at The West Australian Newspaper
For the bulk of my 20-odd years with The West I have written about music, film and television; the latter two areas I am still passionate about and continue to write about.
This site has links to some of the work I have done for The West and other publications but is mainly devoted to my opinions and musings on television, film, pop culture and my other great passions – family, food and travel.
Before returning to The West in May 2010, I spent several years freelancing. One of my freelance gigs was tracking the latest TV news, goss and plots for Perth radio station 6PR Perth’s only 24 hour local radio station. I occasionally pop up as a guest on 6PR’s Nightline and other local radio shows.
Those in the market for a home on Perth’s northern beaches may have seen my work in The West’s Real Estate section; and if music is more your thing, I also wrote for Perth’s monthly lifestyle magazine, Silver.
In 2008 and 2009 I worked part-timed as a media consultant for the Perth Royal Show.
If you have found you way to this site via Google, I should point out I am not the Sue Yeap who has something to do with dog agility trials in Malaysia. I’m the one who has interviewed everyone from The Wiggles and Baby Spice to NCIS star Michael Weatherly and shock rocker Marilyn Manson. And lots of other weird and wonderful celebs in between.

You live a busy life Sue! Who would have thought you’d have a doppelganger doing dog gymnastics in Malaysia lOL!
Cheers Kiaran
Oh Michael Weatherly. Wish I had that in my bio.
Hi there! Just tried to email you but I got a bounce-back from the admin address. Could you email me when you have the chance? Thank you!
